My books, ELEPHANTS and DINOSAURS, are being republished in February as part of a series called WILD READS. I really like these books. This kind of narrative non-fiction for young readers has always been much more widely available in the USA than in the UK. The series, OXFORD REDS, of which the books were originally a part, was the brainchild of Vineeta Gupta at OUP, and it's good to know that much of the series will now get a new lease of life. I'm a big fan of Crowell's LET'S READ AND FIND OUT series from the 1960's, and of the I CAN READ series. If anyone knows what happened to the World's Work imprint that published the I CAN READ books in the UK I'd love to know.
